2. Day 2 · Pattaya

     A relaxed half day on Koh Larn — Coral Island — a short speedboat ride from Pattaya. It's the easy way to swap the city for a proper beach: soft sand, clear water and time to swim or simply sit in the shade. Once on the island you'll have free time on the beach, with water sports on offer for anyone who wants them. An Indian lunch is served before the speedboat takes you back to Pattaya.      A half-day introduction to Bangkok's temples. The tour visits Wat Traimit, home of the Golden Buddha, a seated statue cast in solid gold and one of the most valuable in the world, and Wat Mahaphruettharam, a quieter temple known for its reclining Buddha. The tour ends with a visit to a gems gallery, where you can see how Thailand's rubies and sapphires are cut and set.
